Visitor Management

Security Solutions to safeguard your campus

BENEFITS

Hall Pass checks every visitor every time.

Someone may not be an offender today but they could be one tomorrow.

Hall Pass protects students and staff from the risk of unwanted visitors or predators by instantly comparing school visitor identification data against our integrated, comprehensive database of sex offender registries throughout the United States. When a known sex offender is detected, Hall Pass sends instantaneous alerts preventing access for these predators to campuses and other school events.

State laws mandate that convicted sex offenders voluntarily report their whereabouts on a regular basis and remain in the state where they are registered – this creates an honor system for criminals. Each state maintains an independent database which decreases the effectiveness of protecting our children. Hall Pass changes this equation by compiling and integrating data from EVERY state and the District of Columbia. With integrated data and instant identification, Hall Pass can increase security and prevent incidents in schools across the country.

How It Works

When entering a facility, each visitor must present a government issued ID (or other form of identification approved by the school) to the front office. The ID is scanned using the Hall Pass optical scanner and the information is checked against the National Sex Offender Registry and the District’s Visitor Restricted list. If the visitor is found on either list, the system will display all detailed information related to the offender including photo and will instantly send out alerts via text message and email to appropriate staff and District Police Officers. If the visitor is cleared, Hall Pass will print a time/date badge with photo and custom school logo for the visitor to wear while on school grounds.

Each visitor can be labeled with the purpose of the visit and their destination. These labels can include: visitor, volunteer, visiting faculty, substitute, temporary student, and detention.

HALL PASS Check-in Process:

  1. The ID is validated as an official government issued ID or other school approved forms of identification.
  2. The information is checked against the National Sex Offender database and the School Visitor Restricted list.
  3. The Hall Pass visitor is updated with results from the visitor check-in.
  4. If “Passed,” a badge is printed with time, date, reason, destination and photo.
  5. If found on the National Sex Offender Registry or School Restricted list, a visual notice is displayed and alerts are sent out.

Attach electronic notes to a visitor or volunteer in order to link documents that can be referenced during check-in/out. This helps the campus quickly and directly convey information.

Examples of documents that can be linked:
Immunization FormsPermission Slips
Parent Notices
Custody OrdersNotice of finesMeeting requests

Event Pre-Check

Pre-check and pre-print badges for large groups of visitors. For events such as band concerts, class parties, and school plays.

Destination Alerts

Text and/or email alerts sent to destinations when a visitor checks in at the front desk. This feature allows staff at the destination to be prepared for a visitor.

Searchable Database

Once a visitor has been scanned in the system they become searchable within your districts own secure database. They can be accessed at any other school in the district which can expedite the check-in process.
